You are welcome to visit our "young" church that does just what you say young churches are not doing... Average age is under 30. Relationships are key to the expression of gospel living with each other and as outreach to a lost and dying world. Marriage is taken seriously, and much is made of it.

Thanks for the invite, but it would be an 8hr one-way trip.

Divorce Rate and Acceptance of Divorce

Yes, the divorce rate depends on so many factors.

What Christians need to focus on is the shame of divorce in their own churches, whatever the rate.

We can talk about statistics but will seldom confront the problem when it is right in front of us.

A senior writer at Christianity Today stated, “When someone in our church has an affair and subsequently divorces, very few of us single out the offending parties and demand repentance. . . . (but) we certainly don’t want to congratulate the adulterous couple on their newfound happiness... as though no moral fault were involved. So we say nothing. . . .”

Silence in our churches is as big a sin as divorce.
