Good Morning All!

Blackbird....thank you...that was clear as mud!

Audrey...thanks for the interpretation...it was clear as mud also.

It's a good thing we are all used to Blackbirdy double talking around here (that doesn't mean he has a forked tongue though).

This is a picture of him explaining 'picture finding' in one of his classes.

We will see how long it is before this picture disappears. If it does, then it is definitely a conspiracy. Maybe Charlotte is plotting 'cause she wants my job at the 'Coffee Shop Gazette'.

Hubby is going to go to Wisconsin this afternoon to pick up my Grandson, he will be back tomorrow. I can't do anything outside because of the weather; but I will stay busy on the inside. I think I will start hanging my pictures back up on the wall (at least I can find THEM).

I didn't turn the central a/c on last night, but hubby bought me a small window a/c just for my bedroom. I slept sooo much better. I was actually able to breathe with the humidity gone out of the room. I can handle it in the daytime as long as I get a good night's sleep! I actually slept in until 6:30!!!

I will be back later, need to pack hubby's care package...which consists of snacks to eat on the trip and correct change for the toll booths.

Golly Gee, Audrey! I learned that piece of Spanish from Eddie Haskel, ya know!! Sure did impress Mrs. Perkins, though! She had us all learnin' phrases in Spanish--and the phrase she gave me was easy to pick up on--but I didn't know you knew how to change the air filter in a Craftsman Tiller!!! I just went home after the assignment and memorized the Spanish version of the tiller manuel---it was easier than I thought!!!!!

Say, I'm gonna put a bug in your ear!! Here goes: I heard that you're gonna be in Mrs. Perkins' class this next school year!!! With any luck you can sit next to me! I'm thinkin' about holdin' myself back in 5th grade again just so I can take a chance of being able to sit by you---Me and Mrs. Perkins will be delighted!!!!

Good Morning all! A grey overcast today. but it is not raining and sun is trying to come out.

Kenny is walking to the gym now. He is ready to be pumped up! Very excited.

blackbird...I will have Miss Landers. Gwen Rutherford, Whitey Whitney, Richard Rickover, Larry Mondello, Gilbert Bates, Judy Hensler, and Tooey will all be in my class.

Oh...and I went and seen Gus the Fireman!

And exactly WHY is Kenny "man" walkin' to the gym?? Doesn't HUGH have a car??

Why should Hugh pick up Kenny???????? Hugh is only our trainer.

Kenny will be 16 next month. He can walk downtown. We only live about 3/4 of a mile probably. This not a big town. Your kids can actually walk the streets.

We could probably walk from one end of town to the other pretty good. Someone could pick us up when we got to the end tho!

OK--Mrs. Perkins has the seating arrangements for this comin' August--yes, sir ree--school is startin' earlier and earlier---August 13 to be exact! I found a copy of the seating arrangement on the dash board of momma's '63 Galaxee 500!

It appears as if Audrey will be sittin' next to Blackbird--but her astigmatisms will keep her from cheatin'---and Mrs. Perkins will request that Blackbird be Audrey's representative at the blackboard--she's shy and draws a blank anytime she gets in front of a group of people---Blackbird on the other hand must be gonna be a preacher when he grows up---too honest to be a lawyer or politician!!!

Ya'll! Ya'll know I love Audrey--as much as I love all of ya'll!!

Tell ya what---if you want---I'll have us some Walkie-Talkie's---I can let you in on whats goin' on! You can know what kind of assignments Mrs. Perkins is gonna give Blackbird ahead of time and be workin' on um for 'im while ya'll ain't got nothin' to do in ya'lls class!!

It is amazing how much money we are prepared to waste on organized exercise when we can walk for free and accomplish the same thing. Amazing. I am always amazed. Sorry, I am not at all into the gym thing. We can do all the weight lifting here on the estate picking rocks from the fields, and free walking to investigate the fences for repair. We can eat properly and prevent the abundance of fat accumulation.

The most crowded parking spaces are located nearest to the shops. Park away from the shops and walk. There are so many free areas to get exercise.

I better clam up, as you say, lest I get struck by a dumbbell.

I am sure you are correct Jim. But you have your wife to talk to. And you have the acreage to do your workout.

But it is nice that in this very small community I live in, that I can either go get drunk, or I can stay home and never leave the house, or for some silly reason I could actually talk to people and get a very good workout. I have talked to Kenny all I can, he is just a 16 year old boy, I am 23 almost 24. Adult conversation is nice. And so are using the Machines.

And I did not have to get drunk, or waste away in my house.


The total cost was 35.00 for me, and 10.00 for Kenny. We never do anything.

I have over two hundred mailboxes that get mail...yet, I got no mail from the mail carrier today...he just happened to miss my shop!!!
I have a customer who's waiting for her check that comes in the mail, plus I have a lot of business that use the mailboxes here and they get orders through the mail!
If I may ask an honest question, is it wrong of me to want the mail carrier to get yelled at for missing my stop?

Adapted Daughter--I got "miffed off" at the mail rider one time--I was inside takin' a nap and suddenly there was a horn honkin' outside in the driveway--It was the mail rider--

Since it was a lady I put on my best behavior--got up and went outside to see what she wanted--she had a package that wouldn't fit in the mailbox so she had to drive up the drive--a good hundred yard--to deliver---then she didn't want to get out of the car 'cause of my dog--

I graciously took the package and non-shelantly made the comment in passin' that UPS don't honk their horns!!

She fired back, though and told me that UPS don't deliver on Saturdays---but I got the last word in right before she scratched off down the gravel drive-----yeh, but the hospital delivered my boy on Saturday--does that count!!!

I ain't really that bad 'a guy--just do a lot of stuff for laughs---I'm just sorry the mail rider didn't see anything funny to laugh at!!!!!!

Actually, UPS does deliver on Saturdays...it just cost a little bit more....I should know...I work in a shipping place
