Amen, Edifier. I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful day.

It is hot and sunny here in Gloucester. It is lovely to just sit in the garden and watch the birds and the hoverflies and enjoy the flowers and plants. Today I have picked loganberries and raspberries for dessert.

Be back later

Good day to all who venture in this land of fantasia; this corner of dreams; this pinnacle of earthly delight in fellowship.

Cheers,

Jim

All is well here, thank you. It is sunny and clear; not even partly clear....but give it five minutes, and it could change.

Cheers,

Jim

Hello all! Happy Father's Day to those who are Father's. Church was good. It is a grey overcast again today. Looks as tho a storm could brew.

Jon are you saying Daughter is not those things? Or that her Father is not those things?
You know they have a saying, "Like Father like Son", Why couldn't you remove Son and place it with Daughter there! ;)

So come clean guys...what were the gifts?????

I know there is a Gloucester over there too
How was church this morning?
I will never travel down Gloucester St again and not think about the BB. The mood at church was somber. 2 deaths from different families on Saturday. Not many will be back tonight. They will be visiting the families.

We buy very practical presents in this family. I bought Rob no. 3 of the Left Behind series and he will be getting a new oscillating sprinkler for the lawns.

The older one gets, the harder it is to know what to get. That is the story I keep hearing. I abhor colognes and all stink water. I don't shave,,,,even my legs......I don't drink alcohol, or even rub it on, my library is rather extensive as it is......Hmmmmmm maybe it is hard to buy gifts.......

Cheers to all, and enjoy your Father's Day,

Father Jim

One year, I was given a book about John Knox. At least that is how the title read: Never Far From Home, The Story of My Life...John Knox.

Well, it was about John Knox, but not the John Knox. It was about a modernistic theologian, John Knox, who taught at Union Seminary in New York, the liberal of the liberals school.

Oh well, it was interesting reading...........the family gave up buying me books.

Cheers,

Jim

My family asked me what I wanted and I said a tuna fish lunch. I would rather spend the money to buy something we need. I have all the ties and trinkets a man could want. Although I do enjoy the cards.
