    Ya'll!!! I ain't tryin' to start nothin' or anything--but--

In ya'lls quest to talk and overcome ya'll fear of this "Irn Brew" beverage--ya'll got carried away and left poor sweet little Laurenda under that obsolete hair dryer for too long! I've been clockin' ya'll to see how long it would take for ya'll to notice--

Its all rsr's fault for fixin' the dryer in the first place--then folks started comin' in and wantin' a demonstration! Then Sherrie decided she'd see how hot the silly thing could get and see if the little "timer" was still workin'--

Well! In comes Laurenda and her hair is up in those little pink rollers that clip on and some of the "bangs" were held in place with bobbie pins and toilet(tissue, for all of you folks north of Memphis) paper and she used a big ole jar of "Dip-i-te-do" to "moose" what the pink curlers couldn't cover--

And I can't believe it! YA'LL started talkin' about this beverage thing and the little girl(Laurenda)--oooohhhhh, its a mess!!! And her husband is on his way home right now---

Now! He already knows how to use that 1892 Winchester--its a matter of me tryin' to get him settled down---we can only pray he doesn't notice!!

I'm ready to try that dryer on someone else--Katie, your turn?? Gina?? Sherrie, make Gina get under that dryer while I turn this switch here . . . here goes. . .!!

    Your buddy,
    Blackbird

Blackbird, I think that was ME under the dryer! I have got CURLS...I had to go to Church today with a bag over my head! Everyone was calling me the The Unknown Christian! [IMG]

I don't know how long it will take this hair to relax, but I won't be able to until it does!

Blackbird, your so funny, and such a blessing to me. Thank you for the laugh...that mess that happened yesterday sort of messed with my mood.

Here's that hokey magazine..(hands over hokey magazine to Blackbird)Is your wife the Suzy Homemaker type?

Ed...give Betty a hug for me. Just knowing that she's thinking about me, makes me feel fortified somehow.

Well...I just have a minute...My husband came home, but went to Wal-Mart...because get this...it made me laugh so hard...he lost his deoderant camping. [IMG] I don't know how you can lose something like that camping...but when he took the kids skating a couple of weeks ago...he lost one of his Scholl shoe inserts there too. Cracks me up. But then I'm the one who puts things in the same place every single time...or I will lose things too.

You want to know a way to make me crazy...move my stuff. [IMG] ( Shhhh, don't tell anyone.)

    See you guys.... [IMG]
    Laurenda

P.S. I don't go to the beauty parlor...my mom has very long hair, no frills, so I never learned how to deal with beauty parlors and the people there. The whole high maintance thing sort of makes me uncomfortable. ;)

I'm only going to post in this forum, the prayer forum and the welcome forum until things settle down.

    Thanks,

I am NOT a fundamentalist, so I just stay away from that particular forum.

    Sorry you had that experience.

    Cheers,

They tend to get a little more huffy in there than I like.

I'm a post-newbee myself. I also find some of the posting around intense. There is a hint of finger pointing and sarcasm. I'm glad to see the music forum calm down.

I have to agree Gib. The music forum tends to be the most heated one. I really wish it wasn't.

I have been really tickled, and laughing out loud at some of the answers on "The Coffee Shop" Poll. [IMG]

That was really fun to do. Tomorrow we will start a New "The Coffee Shop" thread #3. This one is getting to large. Hope you will post on it Gib. We just joke around and relax. Sometimes we actually do learn something.

This is #2...I just put #2 on it for Ed. Because tomorrow I was going to start #3. But this board has been doing wierd. I put it once and it was there, and then it just disappeared and so I just did it again.
