I am still trying to get mine there, though I only recently started trying.
I understand that you need 100 posts first. Sherrie knows about these things

yours, Jon.

Dear husband. I asked that about a month ago.

Yes you have to post so many, before you can place a picture up. But it does not take long to get 100 post. It goes fast.

So Jon...how is the Gulf War drop off place going? I see one young man is sick, but what about the thing you started, how has the community accepted it?

How do you get a photo on your post page? If 100 posts is the limit, do I qualify?

Jon, now that you have mastered using the graemlins (emoticon, icons, or whatever you want to call them ;) ) you can start on board acronyms. Here is a link to a BB thread about them: Acronyms and Emoticons. After learning all of them you may be able to communicate without using any "real" words. Of course I won't be able to understand it because I still haven't learned most of the Acronyms.

Frog man your picture must be 60x60. if you do not have a way email it to me, and I will shrink it, and email it back. Then you email it to clint or webmaster to put up.

Thank you Sherrie, for asking. It has proved to be a tremendous witness in the town as there is a recognition that no one but the Baptist church seemed to care about them.

One danger is that we forget that the need goes on as troops possibly come back with the mental scars and families need support as they support each other.

I hope the rest of you can look into the prayer forum for A scottish Gulf Soldier

yours, Jon.

I forgot to report some good news yesterday. A couple that my wife and I are really good friends with just had a baby girl yesterday. I think her name is Micah but the spelling is probably different. That gives them a total of 4 children, all girls (this one was an unexpected surprise). The others are ages 6, 4, and 3. They are supposed to be coming home from the hospital this afternoon, but we will probably wait a few day before visiting them.

I am not on vacation, I have not left because of stress overload or any other reason. But thanks for missing me. Gosh I'm so touched by that.

Get the scene!
Blackbird walks into coffee shop and goes to his usual booth--he has to clear his throat three or four times before the waitress finally comes over

"Yes M'Am!! I want a pot of your finest Columbian brew!"

"A whole pot?? What's the occasion??"

"Well, Blackbird had a birthday yesterday and his precious Alabama wife baked him his favorite cake---Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese icin'! This here cake will knock your socks off--so, whoever wants to "get in good" with Blackbird, come on over and get ya'll a piece!"

Blackbirdy is forty four!

Now watch some poster get on here and start "messin'" with the birthday boy tellin' him it ain't proper to announce one's own birthday!!

Your Southern Baptist preachin', candle blowin' buddy,
Blackbird
