Yes, Blackbird, I can tell you, but it's not polite to mention in polite company. I will only say that tea is a natural diuertic. As they say, you don't buy tea, you only rent it.

Not to mention the caffeine; I had to give it up in the evening, though I love it so and can drink a half-gallon a day.

But not sweet tea. Ewwh. Just enough sugar to cover the bitterness of the tea, and in a pinch, drink it straight.

No, Blackbird, that is a modern invention. Banana ice cream (even though I'm allergic to it) is the true homemade ice cream.

You guys are making me hungry! The church I grew up in always had at least 2 or 3 Sunday nights each summer when people would bring homemade ice cream for after the evening service. I always had to try a little of each kind.

Nothing nerdy about butterfinger ice cream! Yummy.

I like two big scoops(about 1/2cup) of sugar in the two quart pitcher as I'm stirrin' in the hot tea!! I've got a buddy of mine who's wife makes it so sweet you can "sop a bisquit" with it--that's a little too sweet but I don't say anything--1. I don't want to hurt her feelings 2. He's a whole lot bigger than I am and I'm afraid if I do hurt her feelings, he might wind up hurtin' me! "YOU DON'T LIKE HER TEA??" And there I am--stuck at his house and my gun cabinet is way over there at my house--I'd be in one big predictament---

Sherrie--my neighbors and I honk at each other while drivin' past each other's houses--1. Its a honk of friendship--we're apt to get good cases of "tennis elbow" and Carple Tunnel Syndrome wavin' at each other!! 2. It tells each other, "I ain't home now so watch over the place while I'm gone!"

Mercy, you "City Slickers" are gonna think ole Blackbird is a nerdish geek--but actually, thats what real Cajuns do when they get together and neighbor with real Rednecks who like each other!!

Honkin' at each other--hollerin' out the truck/car window at the neighbor's who happen to be outside maybe rakin' leaves, mowin' grass, or just sittin' out in lawn chairs---you honk--and if they have their backs turned to ya and can't turn around(tendin' to the leaf fire) they'll throw their arms up in the air to acknowledge--"Yeh, I see ya! Can't turn around right now!!"

If the board reader were Blackbird's neighbor--and they had a "sorry" attitude--by golly, I'd be out to change that! There are very few houses on Blackbird's road with "For Sale!" signs out in the yard!!

Your Southern Baptist preachin', neighbor wavin' buddy,
Blackbird

I once lived in a small lower Alabama community and everyone waived or "nodded". You would pass the same people, day in and day out. You would see them at the bank, the feed store, pumping gas, ect.

Now we live in a "city" and you have to be careful who you're honking or waiving at. Waiving at strangers may provoke the bird and that aint no blackbird. Honking may get someone turning around and following you or throwing rocks at you as you go by.

It seems that everyone here, has that "what are you looking at" attitude these days.

Good Morning! Where is Jonmagee? He must be at one of the tables.

I have to tell you a story about a sweet young thing that got mad at her boyfriend in a small town south of here. She threw an ice cream cone at his pickup. Come to find out it wasn't his pickup...It was the pickup of an off duty policeman. Here in Okie land it is a felony to throw anything at a moving vehicle. You guessed it! She was arrested.

Well that's my news for the day. I must run and take care of preparing for church tomorrow. Yes, it takes me all day. :D

Have a great Lord's Day. Everyday is the Lord's Day.

I went to the local Walmart and they had keyboard for 10.00. But it would not work with my computer. I do not know why? It had a round end on it...and i needed a flat end. Figures. So I had to take it back...stand in the spring time everyones out refund line and wait forever. Then go drive that 50 miles there...and 50 miles back.

All I heard there was can we stop and get a Soda...and can we go to the Mall....man!...its not fair! UUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH! Turn this song up. Grandma I am sitting in front coming back!

SHUT UP NOW! The famous last words of a fusterated mom.

But now all is calm. But in a few seconds we are going to crank up the mower. And it better work!

Hi, Jon; good to see you. How are things in bonny Scotland?

Sherrie, there are PS/2 keyoards, AT keyboards and USB keyboards. I have one AT left; the others are PS/2. AT is the oldest, USB the newest. Most new computers have either PS/2 or USBs. The AT is dated. Since you said it's flat, I suspect that it's a USB; but if that's the case, your computer may be able to use a PS/2 keyboard, which has a round connection, but much smaller than the AT.
