I simply do not agree with that as an all the time condition of man!

I believe that man is not only tempted by evil, but does, in truth, succumb to evil, but not 24 X 7 X 365.

I believe there is a relatively small percentage of the population that thinks, and acts evil 90% of the time, and a relatively small percentage of the population that thinks and acts righteously 90% of the time. The rest of the population resides in flux somewhere between those two extreme groups. The fact that All have sinned, does not mean that ALL continue in sin ALL the time. It means that not one person has escaped the scourge of sin, but that everyone has sinned at least one sin!

The fact that each has turned to his own way, does not mean that ALL have turned to their own way ALL of the time. We ALL have indeed done things our own way, that is human to do so. But the vast majority of people are "followers" doing it someone elses way. The book "a nation of sheep" describes the condition of man very well, and Yes it is biblical. God appoints the leaders big and small, righteous and corrupt, courageous and cowardice, and he does so at HIS WILL. The general population is not comprised of leaders, but rather followers. That is why television advertizing is so very successful, it is targeted to those who are followers.

You simply do not understand humanity because you are a literalist unable to think for yourself and retain faith in God.
What does Scripture say?

Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Has anything really changed since the flood? Isn't the natural man the same?

Nearly 1/3 of every humans life is spent sinless.
That is the dumbest statement I've EVER read.

Try sticking to the Bible Wes... funny how hard you try to honor man? Can't you see your secular humanism? Why can't you find verses that say man doesn't 1/3 the time in the Bible?

Buy the way... Here is the litmus test on works.
All our RIGHTEOUSNESS is a filthy rages.

Paul says whether you eat or drink, do ALL to the Glory of God. Guess what? EVERY person that isn't a Christian, (and ALLOT of the times for Christians unfortunately) DOESN'T DO ANY action for His glory. This is a command. Therefore it is sin. Every thought, every action a non-believer does is sinful, for they do not glorify God in it.

YOUR statement fails miserably. When will you understand the GROSS sin man is in and the infinite Holiness that is God? .... Shame on you.

If you would get your nose out of the bible long enough, you might begin to understand what it is saying! The bible is about man from cover to cover, and It is God's Word, and For God's glory, but it is given to man, is for man, and is about man, is signed by God with love! I don't see in scriptures very much mention of other species of God's greation, only man! It is in truth God's plan for the redemption of mankind who fell to sin!

I wonder if Noah knew that? After all he built an ARK that was used in his salvation from the flood. Sure, God told Noah to build it and how, but God did not do "the works" of building it. He left that up to man, a man of faith!

You really are quite judgmental aren't you!

When will you understand that sin...ALL SIN has been atoned BY GOD! And that sin no longer condemns those who have faith in God? NO! that does not mean we can sin with impunity, it simply means that sin does not condemn us. What does condemn us is our lack of faith in the Christ! What does condemn us is our lack of knowledge and neglect of God's principle of confession and forgiveness of sin. What does condemn us is our failure to repent from sin, because those who have faith can in that faith live a righteous life.

You have a whole lot of rethinking to do.

rc even unsaved people can glorify God in what they do. Are you saying an unsaved man and woman who work through difficulties, don't cheat on each other and don't get divorced...don't glorify God???

Well RC may not say that it does not glorify God, but, I'm saying that it does not glorify God. The only way that it would glorify God is if they acknowledged that God were the reason they did the right thing.
