Salvation was only of the Jews until God began fulfilling the promise to Abraham by including gentiles = whole world.

Gentiles made members if Israel is what it is all about. Jesus and Believers are biblical Israel.

GENTILES were those who God reached out to and saved in the Book of Jonah! They were not "elect", which were only the Jews!!!

Jonah was not about salvation. It was about not getting smashed as a city/nation for their wickedness.

The Law could not save. Obedience brought only temporary rewards as with Nineveh.

"And the Ninevites believed God. They proclaimed a fast and dressed in sackcloth, from the greatest of them to the least. When word reached the king of Nineveh, he got up from his throne, took off his royal robe, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. Then he issued a proclamation in Nineveh: “By the decree of the king and his nobles: Let no man or beast, herd or flock, taste anything at all. They must not eat or drink. Furthermore, let both man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and have everyone call out earnestly to God. Let each one turn from his evil ways and from the violence in his hands (REPENT). Who knows? God may turn and relent; He may turn from His fierce anger, so that we will not perish.”When God saw their actions—that they had turned from their evil ways (REPENTED)—He relented from the disaster He had threatened to bring upon them (FORGIVENESS)." (3:5-10)

Notice it is not about salvation. It is about the city repenting to avoid destruction.

It appears that you are arguing from your theology, and not from the Word of God. You seem very much opposed to God's desire to see the entire human race saved! I really cannot understand this hard opposition by some Reformed against what the Bible very clearly teaches. very sad indeed!

You are willfully blind to the Truth of the Bible. I cannot waste any more time on pointless arguments.

Sound's more like Biblical Theology than systematic.

Theology applies to any god, We use it to apply to a study of THE God

    • [John 10:11, 14-15 NASB] 11 "I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. ... 14 "I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, 15 even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.
    • [John 10:26-30 NASB] 26 "But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. 27 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. 29 "My Father, who has given [them] to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch [them] out of the Father's hand. 30 "I and the Father are one."
Jesus died for "His sheep" ... the sheep that the Father had given him ... the ship that will never perish. As it is written:

"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day." [John 6:44 NASB]

It is written of little children born wicked, ". . . The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. . . ." -- Psalms 58:3.

    ". . . the whole world lieth in wickedness. . . ." -- 1 John 5:19. (1 John 2:2)
