The Eye-Popping Cost of Medicare for All

It is not deceitful to say that Bernie is worth millions and uses stuff imported from Israel. Bernie is deceitful because as a communist he has condemned millionaires and said that no one should have things from Israel. Communists shouldn't be millionaires.

 

Canada has universal healthcare at half of what the US government spends, per capita. There's no reason universal healthcare can't save us a lot of money. There's also no reason to pretend that the US has a free market in medical care.

Shouldn't anyone who argues about the "eye popping cost of medicare for all" not feel shocked and concerned that medical care is so insanely expensive?

 

Whoa! It has long been established that Canadians have long waits and have died from complications associated with months of waiting. Also, everyone knows that rich Canadians travel to the USA to obtain better and quicker medical care. Here in Indy, I can get a routine appointment with a specialists in only a few days. Even commie Bernie did not want to go to Cuba to have the Israeli Jewish stents removed from his chest in spite of the shame of his betrayal of BDS.

 

Bernie is a Democratic Socialist, not a Communist. Socialism is an economic system that is competes with capitalism. Communism is a political system that competes with democracy.

 

Where do you get that stuff? Bernie honeymooned in the Soviet Union. He was in a communist kibbutz in Israel until he was kicked out for laziness. Socialism does not compete with anything. Socialism leads to starvation and poverty and lack of medical care. The USA has the best economy in the world right now or else you yourself would probably do your radio show from somewhere where you could raise your income, right?

 

I do my bluegrass radio show for free. I do it out of my love for the music and wanting to share the music.

 

The United States has a mixed economy. We have lots of what the right-wing calls “socialism” in this country - Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, public schools and colleges, etc.

 

The reason for the wait for medicine and the 42,000 who came to the USA for better care is that there is shortage of medicine and doctors. Americans subsidize Canada with below market value because Americans invest in research and development and Canadians are free riders.

Canada has no Bill of Rights. Trudeau has introduced a bill to arrest anyone who publishes something about him and his party and his government can be put in prison for five years. Under all socialized medical systems, doctors take a cut in pay. Trudeau has a federal agency to certify the members of the press and if you are not certified, you are not allowed in public events. Even the Canadian conservatives has a reporter arrested and handcuffed a couple of weeks ago in spite of the fact that they had invited him to their event and all he wanted to do was ask a question. They removed him from the event and had him arrested on a public sidewalk. If you think that the UK, Australia, and Canada are just like us, you are mistaken.

 

Yeah, but you stay in this country because of the freedoms, the high incomes, and the capitalist medical system, right?

 

If I didn’t mind going to all of the trouble of moving, I would like to move to Campbellville, Ontario, Canada.

 

They only have two seasons there: winter and July First.

 

That’s fine. As I get older I am preferring cold weather to hot weather.

 

Well, you can go to Michigan or New York for advanced medical care. Costs are much higher in Canada and wages lower. Ontario has a problem with jihadi psychopaths. Also, liberals in Canada are pushing the gay agenda in the public schools. Watch their election today and you will probably see a Liberal victory.

 

I don’t care about their politics.

 

I thought it was July 1, but Indianapolis is a long way from Ontario and I don't leave town much. They always say upstate New York only has two seasons, winter and the Fourth of July.

 

You should, they are very liberal and really don't have a conservative party in an American sense. The conservatives more or less go along with the liberal ideas on immigration and lack of freedom of the press and using the police to control speech. It is a struggle for freedom.
