I live in an area badly affected by this massive ice storm that swept through from Oklahoma through the mid west and mid south.

I have been living without electricity for the past 3 days. Fortunetly, I have gas heat so I was warm, but I had to get out the oil lamps for light. It kinda felt like I had gone back in time to the 1800's.

MAN was it good when the lights in our area started coming on a couple hours ago.

    Yeeeee Hawwwwww!!!!!!!!!

    Praise the Lord!

Been there--done that--except that I didn't have any heat either for three days and had to go to my parents home. That was in Michigan, and now I live full time in Florida. It's 70 degrees outside right now--the coolest day we've had this week, but it's going down to the 50's tomorrow. It's been good while it lasted. :godisgood:
