DEM CONGRESSMAN WANTS REP. MARSHA BLACKBURN TO JUMP OFF A BRIDGE

Democratic congressman Steve Cohen told a group of pastors last month that he hopes Republican congresswoman Marsha Blackburn jumps off a bridge.

Cohen, a representative from Tennessee, made the comments at a community prayer breakfast at the Broadway Baptist Church in Memphis. The breakfast was hosted by former Gov. Phil Bredesen, who is running for U.S. Senate against Blackburn.

“The big orange president …. He’s going to come down here and he is going to endorse Marsha Blackburn, because Marsha Blackburn, if he says, ‘Jump off the Harahan Bridge,’ she’ll jump off the Harahan Bridge,” Cohen said, according to audio obtained by the Huffington Post.

REPUBLICAN CHALLENGER BLAMES WARREN FOR ALLEGED BLOOD MONEY OFFER TO KILL ICE AGENTS


U.S. Senate candidate Geoff Diehl (R.–Mass.) says Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s rhetoric is “partially to blame” for violence against ICE agents.

He made his criticisms shortly after Massachusetts law enforcement discovered a man who was offering $500 in blood money for anyone willing to kill an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent.

As the Boston Herald reported Friday, GOP candidate Geoff Diehl says Warren’s “irresponsible” talk about ICE is a contributing factor in the rising level of potential violence against the federal agency. Diehl said Warren should “both retract and apologize” for her escalating rhetoric against ICE.

“We now have a man putting a bounty on the heads of ICE agents. Senator Warren’s irresponsible statements are partially to blame,” said Diehl in a statement. “She has a responsibility to support our law enforcement officials. Her call to abolish ICE and painting the entire criminal justice system racists are reckless and dangerous.”

EL DORADO (CBS13) — A Union Mine High School student is facing battery charges after an altercation in her classroom over a Donald Trump “Make America Great Again” campaign hat.

Cellphone video shows some of the tension inside this high school classroom

The teacher is seen trying to subdue fired-up 17-year-old senior Jo-Ann Butler after she became enraged at a classmate for wearing the “Make America Great Again” hat.

She grabbed the hat off his head.

“That’s a racist and hateful symbol,” Butler said.

She is now facing two counts of battery, one against her classmate and one against her teacher who deputies say she slapped, as he escorted her from the room.

Former Attorney General Eric Holder doubled-down on recent anti-GOP violence across the country this week; urging liberal activists to “kick” GOP voters when “they go low.”

Holder was speaking with supporters at an event Tuesday when he seemingly endorsed the scenes of rage and protests taking place throughout the nation in the aftermath of Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

“It’s time for us as Democrats to be as tough as they are, as dedicated as they are, as committed as they are,” said Holder.

“Michelle Obama always said ‘When they go low, we go high.’ No, when they go low, we kick them,” he added as the room burst out in applause.
