Remember, Jesus was and still is the most hated person on earth. People murdered him, change his words, curse his name, and call him a liar.

Bush and Churchill were also hated because they had the courage to stand up to their enemies and call evil evil. Both Hitler and Obama call evil good.

As stated earlier, read "Hitler's Cross" by Erwin Lutzer!!!

Perhaps that will better explain the concern over here.

I read this book several years ago and commented to my wife that we were very close (socially/politically/religiously) to what Germany was in the late '20's- early '30's.

Fast forward to today, and we're much, much closer, and the present administration is just tracking Germany's history!! If this country does not wake up REAL QUICK, we're doomed to a similar fate no matter what party is "in charge"!

    Hi Ken,

Among the national newscasters there is something close to that adoration.

In another thread it was shown where Chris Matthews "felt a thrill going up his leg" when Obama spoke, he cried over another speech and likened him to Jesus Christ in yet another.

You don't have to convince me. Obama will attempt to use his deliberate mismanagement of the economy to seize more power for the Federal Government. In the meantime small children are taught to sing his praises! Sounds like Adolph or the little fat guy from North Korea, I believe his name is "dear leader".

So you're claiming that getting the US to provide a minimum amount of medical coverage to our people like all other civilized countries is "evil" but invading Iraq and Afghanistan for no good reason is "good?"

    Very faulty logic, I'd say.

If you insist on trolling here, try to stay on topic.

But, then that's what trolls do . Change the subject.

    So go away, troll.

If you think there was no reason to invade Afghanistan, you need some help. Seriously.

We did not invade Afghanistan. We helped put down the talibans who were overwhelming a country, mostly divided in tribes, producing 95 % or more of the world Opium. Where would it go under taliban rules ? What would it finance ? Another 9/11 ?

Maybe we have it hard over there, but we're there for good and preventive reasons.

When we send soldiers, vehicles, planes, into a country how can you not call it an invasion? Who in Afghanistan asked us to come ionto their country? If China did the same to us would you consider it an invasion? Why or why not?

The assumption that precedes the statement and question is that all nations are created equal. The problem is they aren't.

An invasion is sending troops into another country that did not request them. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

    Hmmm....

Would you say then, that you INVADED the Baptist Board ? Not only were you not invited, you have been twice shown the door. Seems like an apt analogy.

BTW, and Off-topic, did you know Joe Kennedy (Ted's daddy) had to give up his ambassadorship because of his NAZI ties ? Seems like you bring up Bush's ancestors enough, just an FYI fey ya, and it's free, to boot !!!!

A not to distant example of an invasion was in 1990 when Iraq invaded Kuwait.

Another was when North Vietnam invaded South Vietnam.

Another was when Japan invaded just about every nation in Asia.

Another was when Germany invaded just about every nation in Europe.

    Those were invasions.
