    I don't care if you trust my position because it isn't my position it is documented fact. I don't know how you are doing your word search but you are doing something wrong. My guess is that you did a root search and not a lemma search.

    You are falsely accusing me. If I take a Greek word, and use it to search for duplicates throughout scripture to derive different translations of it. And find its use as a symbol in various passages, perhaps you need to learn from me.

    Does the word world always mean the same thing? You are being selective and ignoring context in order to fit your theology.

    Ancient Greek words have a wide area of meaning. You censor some of the meanings to promote your own.

    I believe they're more than just those. Locusts themselves can't harm people, and anyone can make a mark on oneself with any number of things.

    But your stuff is so-obviously what I said it was, that all I had to do was keep telling the truth. Man simply didn't have the knowledge in the 1st C. that we have now, while Jesus did, of course, so Jesus used terms the people of that time could understand.

    You know full well the mark of the beast won't be just a mark. I can make a mark on myself with ink, soot, dye-any number of things. And you know a mark that'd be required to buy or sell will be much more than just an ordinary mark. So, how about applying common sense? A microchip fits the bill nicely for such a mark, & the tech exists now. As niniaturization progresses, it won't be long til a tiny chip will be able to hold a person's entire financial portfolio, & be used to conduct business transactions. The antichrist will control the world by requiring everyone to have such a device implanted, so he can know where anyone is, what they're doing financially, & be able to electronically impose fines & taxes, etc.

    The world is heading toward this awful future right now. As travel & knowledge increase, so does evil. Just 10 years ago, gays were almost-universally detested & transgender was about as common as North American kangaroos. Powerful microchips were about half the size of a dime, with 1/20 the capacity chips 1/4 that size have now. Govt. instability is increasing worldwide, just as it was in Germany just before Hitler took over. The world is being prepared to receive the beast/antichrist as its false savior.

    So, you can stop being so silly about what Jesus said about the mark of the beast. It'll almost certainly be some kinda electronic gizmo.
