Traditionally the Midwest has been good to Republicans. If you can find one of those neat electoral maps you'll see the South and Midwest are almost completely red in 2000, 2004, & 2008. The challenge for Republicans is that the flyover states don't carry that much weight.

Should be an interesting election to watch. I'm still saying that President Obama will win in November, but it will be close. Romney might be able to pull it out if he can finally get on message, get the media on message, and scare the <edited-LE> out of people about the next four years under the current administration.

I'm reading a book Petrus Romanus regarding the last pope, how he plays into the antichrist and freemason's (an extension of mormonism). I believe if Romney gets in the end is quite near. The number of donations from the illuminati towards his campaign is unbelievable. Hardly a coincidence.

I'm torn now in voting for him to be honest. Can I vote for someone who might be helping to usher in the antichrist?

From the book description on Amazon:

In recent history, several Catholic priests--some deceased now--have been surprisingly outspoken on what they have seen as this inevitable danger rising from within the ranks of Catholicism as a result of secret satanic "Illuminati-Masonic" influences. These priests claim secret knowledge of an multinational power elite and occult hierarchy operating behind supranatural and global political machinations.

Webdog? Really? You're buying into this?

Considering that freemasonry dates to about 1390 and Mormonism dates to about 1820...

How can freemasonry be an extension of Mormonism?

Buying into what? Freemasons and their influence in America? The prophecy of the last pope within RC circles who fits the descripton of the false prophet? Islam's prophecy of their 12 Imam (who fits the antichrist description)? That God has used non prophets, even evil pagans to prophecy truth (Nebuchadnezzar, Baalam)?

That was poorly worded but Mormonism, created by Joseph Smith who was a Freemason, created a lot of the ceremonies in Mormonism based on Freemason ceremonies.

Freemason's are not original. They are here due to the disbanding of the Knights of Templar and shar4e many chaaracteristics amongst all 3.

The final pope, as with Islam's final imam.

Buying into the idea that there is a multinational power elite and occult hierarchy operating behind supranatural and global political machinations. And only because these priests have told these authors of this Satanic plot has it come to light.

I'm thinking it's all a plot to sell books.

I am familiar with the "final imam" but never heard of the "final pope".

Can you direct me to some source?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prophecy_of_the_Popes

Malachy supposedly had a vision of all future popes, each pope had a corresponding short Latin phrase, or motto to accompany him. By linking the birthplace of the popes, their families coat of arms, and events in the pope's life with the mottos, it is alleged that all popes could have or were predicted by Malachy. Of course if you actually look at the list and some of the, ahem, evidence, it may leave you scratching your head.

    Example:

Pope #237, Urban VIII. Motto: Lily and Rose. Rationale: This guy was from Florence. Florence has a lily in the city's coat of arms. [what about the rose?]

Pope #252, Pius VI. Motto: Apostolic Pilgrim. Rationale: Spent last two years of his life in prison. [pilgrim does not mean prisoner, and he was in prison after he was pope.]

Pope #265, John Paul I (1978) Motto: From the midst of the moon. Rationale: His reign began when the moon was half-full. [Well, there is a 1 in 15 chance this could happen to anyone.]

Malachy only has one motto left in his prophecies, concerning Peter the Roman, or Petrus Romanus.

Yes...he's known as the god of this world and we are told the spirit of antichrist is already at work. Hardly find it coincidental 2 false religions at polar ends of the spectrum are looking for essentially the same thing we are but through their warped lens.
