The Mohler Amendment to the SBC Constitution

At the same time he was pushing this anti-women-pastors amendment on us, Albert Mohler has his seminary sponsoring an online resource Called to Ministry that says Discipleship Pastors can be "he or she", "persons", etc.
It's not clear to me what a 'discipleship pastor' is, but it's plainly not the same as a full-on pastor.
The women mentioned in Romans 16 did more than serve coffee. Churches need to be involving women in ministry, just not as pastors and/or preachers.
The fellowship to which my church is affiliated has a policy on this: Women in Ministry Ethos Statement - FIEC

Wouldn’t that mean she would take a stand against women pastors?
I'm sure there are many faithful and wonderful ladies out there who have likely forgotten more theology than I will ever know!

You hardly hear from them though for this very reason! Perhaps a good number of them have been married to faithful Baptist pastors and have quietly kept them straight on their theology throughout the years?

It's not plain to these guys!

I queried Google:
The "Mohler Amendment" (officially the "Truth and Unity Amendment") is a proposed constitutional addition to the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) designed to explicitly bar women from serving in any pastoral office or function....It is the latest evolution of the "Law Amendment"—a similar measure that previously failed to reach the required two-thirds majority in 2025.

How it Affects Ministry Roles:
Broader Scope: The amendment goes beyond just the title of "Senior Pastor" to include roles like "Discipleship Pastor," "Youth Pastor"...

Yes, a sad day for the Southern Baptist Convention.
Why is it a sad day? Have you ever been pastored by a woman?

A Lutheran church I was attending (switching back and forth from it and a Baptist church), the male pastor retired, and they installed a female interim pastor. I will not attend this church again.

A Baptist church that I was considering attending, where I got married to my first wife, has a female associate pastor who is in a lesbian relationship.

A Methodist church that I attended as a child now has a female pastor. I watched some videos of her sermons. Atrocious. No gospel. No Bible. Just Christian philosophical platitudes and personal anecdotes.

Woke ideology is destroying the churches.
