The Mohler Amendment to the SBC Constitution

I agree. However, if the man in this instance is wrongfully accused of rape, he is defenseless.
Which is why he should follow the Billy Graham rule… never be alone with a woman not your wife (or a female relative)

The defense then is very clear to all. The man has never been alone with a woman not his wife for the specific purpose of never suffering such a false accusation that brings harm to the cause of Christ.

Peace to you

These are no excuses for not taking it the law.
I don’t know anything about you, however, I suspect if you were the victim of a brutal s:xual assault, you might consider an excuse or two for not reporting it.

Embarrassment and shame, shock, attempting to protect family members from the knowledge fearing how they would respond, not desiring the details to become public, not desiring the church to go through the turmoil. And so on.

Peace to you

You've just engaged in your own brand of victim blaming. We could say the same for the woman...why were you alone with him? Or, what did you expect going to the bar dressed like that?

See how that works?

I don't doubt any of that. In fact, I aver it.

That's why we do what we can to help them do the right thing.

But that's in the cases of real assault and rape, not in those that feminists are calling such, like the case cited above.
