Sounds like an excuse to me. DineEquity (parent company of Applebee's) has seen its stock cut in half since the beginning of the year with the overall market going up. I'd say the company is in deep trouble and this guy's looking for a scapegoat.

The minimum wage increase in NYC and Seattle have nothing to do with helping wage earners. it is all about the expansion of federal aid to the entitlement class. This is how Democrats created the illusion that they are the party of caring during Johnson's Great Society; an illusion that has lasted over 50 years.
