    Hi again pinoybaptist

    It seems like I am having to say this, over and over again;

This post, has nothing to do, with the KJV.
    --------------------------------------------------
It is all about the fairy tale, that God’s Word has somehow been lost.

And as a result, Christians are being told, that there is “no Bible”, that can be trusted.
    --------------------------------------------------
I am not accusing anybody of anything, I am just asking for people, to “take a stand” on the Bible that you believe to be trustworthy.

I am not forcing anybody to take a stand, I am just asking to hear from those how can.

If I have offended you in any way, I do apologize.

    Hi 4His_glory

    Nice to hear from you.

    You asked.......

Absolutely. It must be wonderful, being able to understand more than one language.

And take a stand on any Bible in any language that you trust to be God’s Word!

    Hi preachinjesus

    Nice to hear from you.

I don’t think anybody is fighting here.
    We are just sharing opinions.
    --------------------------------------------------
If you read the post, that you know that I am asking people the very simple question, of which Bible translation, do that trust as God’s Word.

Although I am unfamiliar with UBS4 BHS, if that is your choice, than welcome.

    Hi righteousdude2

Nice to hear from you. And I like your handle.

    You said.......
That is great. I also have tried the Amplified Bible, and I know what you mean.

    Thank you for participating!

    Hi again C4K

    You quoted me.......
    Then you said.......
Well if I offended you, I am sorry.

But as I have already said, I have “no hidden motive” at all.
    -Just a simple question!-

    Hi Revmitchell

    Nice to hear from you.

I know, that it is hard for most people to believe, but this post has nothing to do with the KJV at all.

So far at least 10 different versions of the Bible have been talked about.
    --------------------------------------------------
    You also said.......
Well, we don’t have the right to tell others, what to believe. In this thread, I have made it clear, that all I want to know, is what Bible can you “take a stand” on, as being God’s Word.

Hope to hear from you again

    Hi again preachinjesus

I’m glad that you preach Jesus.

    You said.......
I am glad that you asked me that question.

The reason that it is vitally important, for me to only study one Bible, is because I am saved, and I want to hear from the LORD, without doubting the words that I am reading.

The way that I see it, is if anybody uses more than one Bible to study from, they are just asking for trouble. Because soon they must start asking themselves, “which one is right”.

If we(who don’t know Gk. or Heb.) are going to trust our eternity to a book; We had better believe that it is 100% accurate.
-If you don’t, you are just kidding yourself!-

    Hi preachinjesus

Boy I am glad to hear from you again.

    First you asked.......
Well, I didn’t come here for a fight. But it seems like every single response that I am getting, is accusing me of something. (Just take a look.)

As a matter of fact, that one time that I said, “As for the subject of “relativism”: This is exactly what I am fighting against.”.
-That was said in response to someone accusing me of preaching relativism.-
    --------------------------------------------------
    As for your “better question”.......
Well, about 98% of the people that have responded, have not be able to share with me, the name of a Bible(any Bible), that they can take a stand on, and say that they trust it to be God’s Word.

Doesn’t that sound like to you, that they are saying, that “No Bible is Correct”.
    --------------------------------------------------
    Then finally you asked.......
Do you really think, standing up for God Word, is silly. I don’t.

Hope to hear from you again.

I wonder how the KJVO folks approach foreign missions outside of English speakers?

God's word does not need your help. Your job is to proclaim it, not pickle it.

"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart."

Your stance does not even come close to the capacity of God's word.

    Hi again pinoybaptist

    Here is what you said......
I didn’t know, that you were a mind reader. (Just joking)

No, this isn’t true. And let me say still another time. My post has nothing to do with the KJV. The only time it was mentioned, was when I started us off, by naming the Bible that I can take a stand on.

    Hi menageriekeeper

    Nice to hear from you

    You said.........
As far as I know, only the KJV, uses the Old English.

We have been talking about, lots of different Bibles here.

    Hi preachinjesus

    You asked........
Well, right now, it is 11:37pm, and I am on page 7, answering each and every one of them(except for the silly ones).

My name is, “stilllearning”, and as I have been coming up from page one, answering responses, I am seeing more and more, of my own.

    (Take a Look.)

Oh by the way, I have responded to every one of yours.
(Please let me know if I missed one.)

    Thank you

    Hi again sag38

    You asked........
I don’t know, if I run into one, I will ask.

No seriously. If you read the post, and all of my responses, you will clearly see, that I am never even suggesting “any one particular version of the Bible”. Feel free to take a stand on any version you care to. -Just take a stand!-
    --------------------------------------------------
    Also you said........
Boy I am sorry to hear that. You shouldn’t have let a few insults, make your mind up for you. If insults bothered me, I would have turned off my computer, long ago.

But thanks for the encouragement anyway.

    Hi annsni

Sorry to hear about your bad weather.

    You quoted me saying.......
    Then you said.....
When you said “No one said that”, you were correct.

But as you can see in my quote, the reason that I am coming to that conclusion, is because of a process of elimination.
    --------------------------------------------------
    Also you quoted me........
    Then you said.......
    “Asked and answered, already”.
    --------------------------------------------------

Hope you made it through the storm okey.
