    Good Morning to you all.

Leo is now at the animal hospital. His op is scheduled for about mid -day. The house seems so quiet without him.

What is everyone else up to today? I can't seem to get going today. I will have to be more focussed. LOL.

    Blessings

    Sheila

    You sound very industrious Roger.

I haven't really achieved much today. Rob and I chose a woodburning fire for the sitting room this morning. A friend called round and the animal hospital phoned to say that Leo has had his surgery and we can collect him at 6 pm. Today is really dragging and I can't settle to anything.

Goodness, is it ever quiet in here today?

    Blessings to you all

    Sheila

I got some work done early - then Mary and I had to walk into town and run some errands. The weather appears to be changing now and the arthritis in my neck is acting up.

    Roger,

It is good that you can walk into town. Is it very far? I used to be able to do that when we lived in the south. It was a brisk 15 minute walk. It was often much quicker and easier than taking the car, and I was fitter too. LOL.

Sorry to hear about your arthritis.

    Hi to Mary for me

    Sheila

A walk into Naas is about 15 minutes or so - a nice little walk and much easier than driving in.

How could you think such a thing of either of us??

Shouldn't you be reading this book of yours? The computer is a distraction, you know. LOL

Well, well, I can see why so little gets done on the studies. It is a nice day here; quite mild, but not to trouble, the snow is soon coming...tomorrow.

I don't know wot I did to-day, but I was quite busy at it, whatever it was...not much accomplished though.

Must get a photo done for health card tomorrow, so sometime I will have to trim the beard and comb my hair.

We had a terrible barn fire last night; 6 cows and a dog lost in the fire. I travel with the fire department to counsel with the family whose house or buildings are afire..a chaplain sort of thing. Not always a pleasant scene, I can tell you. At least no human lives in danger.

I don't know why people say they are idle in the Christian life. There are so many avenues of service open to us.

If anyone is interested, here is a site showing our little Tamworth. Don;t mind the grammar and spelling. The lad did the best he could.

    Cheers,

    Jim
