I'm heartbroken to say that I have NEVER seen Kaylee who is 17 months old. Eden is 4 next week and I've seen her 2 times. The last time, she wasn't even sitting up yet. They moved just this month a LITTLE closer but they had been in Maine, 3 hours to the nearest airport. Now that I am having to do childcare to help save our home, I only have off from late Friday night until 5:30 on Monday morning... but teach S/S also. All their vacations have been with our sil's family. They're well off and can rent a house on the shore, etc. I can't compete.

Every year they say they're going to come for Christmas but then the mil makes these amazing plans and buys all the 'Santa' presents. Now they live 10 mins. from the inlaws. Still, they're over 1001.14 miles from me.

I take for granted, most of my relatives live with a 20 mile radius. I see them at the grocery store and on holidays.

Jordan and Taylor both play on various traveling sports teams. They may be gone for 3-5 days in a row. If this is what it's going to be like when they go to college, I'm going with them.

We're glad to hear you made it home safe and sound - get some sleep!

We went to a Gaither Homecoming concert last evening. Got to bed at 2:30 AM - got up to come to work at 5:30 AM!

Can you spell T-I-R-E-D!!

Welcome home Roger!

Dan, Jim's old boss (the Christian family whose company was so hurt by 9/11) called yesterday and he and his wife have bought tickets to the Gaither concert for them, us and Nick for Nov. 20th in Birmingham. I can't wait! We have extended care during church that Sunday so it'll be HARD to do.... but well worth it!

Diane, you'll enjoy the concert - Bill Gaither puts on one of the finest concerts in the Christian music field. You get to hear several groups and artists! You'll enjoy it.

And I positive about that!

The tickets are purchased and the concert is Nov. 20th! Jim's old boss and his wife are such lovely friends so it'll be quite a blessing to share this with them (and Nick!) How very positively generous of them to think of us!

Morning everyone!

I am finally getting back to my old self. I never had jet lag flying west before, but still was not speeling after 4 days. Last night seemed to be "normal" though.

Interesting day ahead for us all.

I will be off the internet for a few days..not sure which days...taking computer into isp for a checkup, cleanout and re-programming. They keep the computer for a day, but still have to drive in to pick it up.

If Bush gets in tonight, I might need a break anyway to search for my weapons of mass destruction...the joker!!!

Cheers,

Jim

I expect we will hear something from Jim soon, Roger. I enjoy his posts.

I hope everyone will be blessed by their church services today. Ours was good.

Is lunchtime here now. We are late because Rob is duty deacon today = first one in and last one out. LOL.

God Bless

Sheila
