Christians are specifically told to try the spirits to see if they are of God. what is the relative rule?

1Jo 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1Jo 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

the elect have the resurrected spirit of Christ inside them.

how about a double witness. the holy spirit gives the evidence of the indwelling spirit.

1Co 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

the only thing that could possibly be lacking at this stage is the understanding of Gods full and complete Goal. in which we have the last identifying mark of the true elect...

Is it possible to deceive the true elect?

Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

If it were possible...but its not.. False christ do not profess Christ as Lord nor do they administer mercy to their fellow brothers in Love.

false christs deceive other false christs..
but they do not deceive the elect.

"arminians" are not of the elect. first they do not profess to the actual resurrected spirit within them as lord of their will nor do they administer mercy to all as the true Christ has chosen to fulfill before his father. they believe that their God will as they themselves display..withold mercy from some condeming them to eternal pains of torment for such a simple act as ignorance.
