    The Philosophy of Liberty
Based on the Principle of Self-Ownership - Presentation

What elements of this presentation are correct or incorrect?

Are any elements opposed to scripture?

Since Christ was fully human, I would say another man does have ownership of my life. But to be honest, I'd rather just read the text than sit thru a flash media presentation. I just don't have the patience. Any chance of the text being somewhere ?

I don't know of a text-only location. I expect the concepts are included in this book but the book would likely take longer than the 8 or 9 minute presentation.

Well, I'd always rather read than watch. But I am a capitalist. And anything that describes the lack of liberty & free thought people live under in socialist nations is good.

Remember the guy who buried his talent ? He was sent away with nothing. In fact, Christ called him "evil". If there ever was a biblical story about how important personal responsibility is, it's in Matthew 25.

But I do disagree with our bodies being ours. As a temple, our bodies belong to Christ, and that's why I didn't get another tattoo, and stopped wearing my earing after being saved, and it's why I would prefer to be buried, than cremated, I believe burial looks forward to a ressurection.

I'm with you on this Bro. Curtis. I'd might like to read it but don't want to watch a video.

I disagree with you on this. I intend to be cremated. I am not going to be using this body in the afterlife.

    "No man is an island."

Do self-aware chimps and whales also belong to themselves?

I thought we either "belonged to" God or Satan.

Are we not accountable to others? Our parents and children, for example? Our church elders?
