This is very concerning.

The Spy Revolt Against Trump Begins

In a recent column, I explained how the still-forming Trump administration is already doing serious harm to America’s longstanding global intelligence partnerships. In particular, fears that the White House is too friendly to Moscow are causing close allies to curtail some of their espionage relationships with Washington—a development with grave implications for international security, particularly in the all-important realm of counterterrorism.

Now those concerns are causing problems much closer to home—in fact, inside the Beltway itself. Our Intelligence Community is so worried by the unprecedented problems of the Trump administration—not only do senior officials possess troubling ties to the Kremlin, there are nagging questions about basic competence regarding Team Trump—that it is beginning to withhold intelligence from a White House which our spies do not trust.

Admittedly, I am a bit surprised that there are no comments about this. At the least, I would have expected cries of "Fake News!, Fake News!" from the usual people.

More trashy yellow journalism
No real sources, only opinion

No news here ... move on.

Sounds like sedition. If employees withhold information from the lawfully elected administration, they need to be fired and replaced.

If they want to protest, they can quit their jobs and go protest, write books, do talk shows, whatever. But if they're on the taxpayers dime, they need to do their jobs.

I listened to Obama say we needed a reset with Russia, that it wasn't the Cold War anymore. Listened to a very disconcerting hot mic incident between him and Medvedev, remember? Where were these concerned intelligence employees then?

Oh, but now Podesta got hacked, and much of the media is pushing the story of Russian intervention to de-legitimize the last election, as if millions of democrats voted for Trump because of some emails. And we have an article with no sources pushing that same story. Color me unimpressed.

So is that article concerning? Not to me, not in the least.

If these guys are so concerned about their boss, then they should join the private sector.

I saw the referenced article this morning and I am not surprised. There is no doubt in my mind similar things are happening in just about every federal government agency.

It is hard to get a rapid response from a bureaucracy that likes you. Trump is going to find it is impossible to get much done in any length of time from a bureaucracy that does not like him. He seems completely ignorant on how government works and how to work the system. He is in for a lot of frustration and anger in his time as president.

Oh please, you are a smart guy (maybe not as schmart as Trump), but you can play it out in your mind without all that tittle tattle from the Jim Jones types, right!

I wanted him impeached....and imprisoned.

I read that article, and the Salon article about CalExit, and I see people cheerfully marching towards civil war.

I feel like I've seen enough death and destruction in my lifetime, I have no desire to see it here in my home.

This is madness.

Stop by DoD some time. For the most part we're pretty stoked.

Perhaps and pretty worried. I have a friend who is quite high up in the Pentagon and he is worried and says others are worried about Trump. He is cautiously optimistic about some of the retired generals who Trump tabbed. But about Trump he worries.

I am cautious about the generals myself. Mattis argued for a two state solution in Israel at one point, though I don't see that getting much traction from the Trump Administration.
