"The Sting of Death is Sin"

    I Corinthians 15:56a states that: "The sting of death is sin;"

    What exactly does that passage mean?

    Does it mean that "the sting of death is sin" in the exact same sense that one might say that, "Murder is sin?"

    I'd appreciate reading your thoughts on this, especially if you can supply specific Scriptural passages that address this particular passage in I Corinthians.
