And do you believe Muslims are defended and protected by the media and politicians through ignorance or collusion?
yes

Haven't read the website yet, so I can't answer yet.

First of all, a horribly designed site...difficult to read. Secondly, equally extreme verses also appear in our Bibles. So what is the point?

The questions was, "...do you believe Muslims are defended and protected by the media and politicians through ignorance or collusion?"

I was looking for a choice of the two. Or, after I think about it, maybe you were saying yes to both of them...

Ignorance? For some, yes. Collusion? Again, yes for some. Many are just too happy to go against anything Christian, even if it means climbing in bed between Mohammad and the devil.

when I said yes, I meant to both. I did answer the question.

How well the site is crafted means nothing if any of it is true, being badly designed deos not mean it isn't true.
Are there extreme verses in the bible that tell christians to murder unbeleivers, to bind them and cut their heads off? Where would that be since I've never seen it, maybe you could tell me. Why would christians constantly denfend a false religion whose holy book and false 'god' tells them to murder the rest of us?

It's sad when a so-called Christian defends the Koran, which heavily encourages violence, by attacking the Bible. Find me one verse, just one, in the Bible that tells me as an individual that it is ok for me to go kill someone who disagrees with me. Better yet, find me one time that the Lord Jesus Christ encouraged, promoted, and condoned personal violence. Muhammed was a warlord, a pedophile, a nutcase, and a psychopath. He did whatever he wanted and later had a convenient prophetic vision where Allah told him it was ok. He believe in any means to an end. He lied, cheated, murdered, and slaughtered his way to power.

It aggravates me when people ignorantly defend Islam and attack Christianity. Spare me. Islam is a horrible, ghastly religion that teaches any means to expansion and global dominance while Christianity is a glorious religion that teaches kindness toward all, self sacrifice, godly living, and always doing the right thing no matter the cost to self.

Nope...just pointing out that both books have some pretty bad verses and commands. You want examples? Obviously some of us have not read anything but spoon fed Sunday school verses.

Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.
1 Samuel 15:3

In the cities of the nations the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes. Completely destroy them — the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites — as the LORD your God has commanded you.
Deuteronomy 20:16-17

The LORD commands: “kill without showing pity or compassion. Slaughter old men, young men and maidens, women and children”
Ezekiel 9:5-6

Like Christianity, most Muslims are better than the commands in their scriptures. I have a very dear Muslim friend who would do anything to help others, and is not a terrorist at all.

Before attacking others, you must insure your own house is in order.

These are commands of the true and living God, to a certain people, about a certain people, not like islam, which is any unbeliever, right now in the world today.

say what? christians are better the the command sin scripture? you comparing the fact muslims are better then the commands in the koran like most christians are better then the commands in the bible.
this is extremely serious as a christian saying something like this. Thsi si something that should in no way ever be allowed on this board if it is going to contune to call itself a christian site. This goes entirely too far.
your dear muslim friend is not a true muslim as he denies the koran.

The house is already very much in order to those who know it.

You know that you not only take these verses out of context to a specific time and place (excepting the prophecy) but you also take them from Old Testament, and you make a false charge appear to be true.

It is 'Christians' like you who keep lies going and support or validate the ignorance of those who don't know the scriptures and don't know better.

I've heard it before! A Christian has an opportunity to witness in a discussion with a lost person and some brat plant of the devil comes up and shows off 'his brand of Christianity' to start a dispute about something immaterial to the urgency of the conversation like a doctrine dispute about osas or inerrancy or different translations, or supposed cruelty taught. Forget it! I know that Jesus said some were tares sown by the enemy: And birds woulc steal the seed before they could take root. I have no kindness for you when you do this. And, sadly, you are not alone, or you might feel some shame.

This is the key issue here. While I don't understand all of the violence of the OT [from our perspective] it is obvious that these instructions were for a particular time and situation while, from what I understand, the Koran instructions are for all time and in every with non-Muslims.

"Equally extreme verses..."?

MY point is .....What do you consider a lie from God?

Equally?.....NO one is equal to the One and True God.

Or do you disagree?

Let me make it clear. I will ask what all Christians ask, do you believe that Jesus was God and came to this earth and died for our sins?

Gee.....so much for extreme verses. Huh?

Nope...just pointing out that both books have some pretty bad verses and commands. Then why haven't you been the first to prove God wrong? Men have looked all over for someone to prove the Bible wrong. There is a LOT of money to the person who can do that. Are you the one? Please tell us, any scripture you want....that you can prove wrong. You want examples? Yes!Obviously some of us have not read anything but spoon fed Sunday school verses.Just you, but all of us here want you to come to Christ.

And when you realize that God, not allah, is Lord, you will join us. Until then, Yes, I say you are lost.

Good thing then that this matter is not in your hands, eh?

The point is that to point fingers at the Quran for having some pretty abhorrent verses while ignoring those in the Bible, is an exercise in hypocrisy. You would pull verses stand-alone from the Quran, yet cry "context" when the Bible is given the same treatment. Be consistent.
