was that "your strongest corse" or strongest "curse" ???
LOL...

What's funny is my strongest area of study was literature (especially ancient literature and poetry). That's probably why my posts are so missed up. I love multi-level conversations, even if they are one sided :Laugh

Except we already know of cases where soeone was NOT tested for COVID but appeared to have the symptoms and they said to count it in the total.
Makes no difference toward the conclusion and if you don't know that you are not thinking.

Your argument's conclusion that is based on that SOME were not tested yet are counted as COVID19 deaths, therefore the numbers should not be determining factor. I've already spelled out the problem with your argument, but perhaps you've missed it:
it, post #14:

The U.S. COVID-19 Death Rate is Lower Than These Countries
I'm sorry but I'm not going to count a 97 year old who happens to have Covid-19 along with other major health issues a death by coronavirus. That's nonsense. And if you look at the numbers that is a lot of these deaths. Pepole with major health conditions who are dying from those diseases, not from COVID19

You still have your head in the sand and are appearing desperate to deny the truth of the situation as I spelled out to you in post #14. If your not going to address my refutation of your logic I'm certainly not going to waste my time chasing your rabbits while you avoid that refutation.

My example would be about a horse that breaks a bone while racing. Now provided the damage is not too severe, the horse can be operated on and the bone repaired. Since horses cannot just lie around for six weeks while it heals but have to stand a lot, they may end up putting too much weight on their other legs and develop laminitis, which is very difficult to treat. The laminitis gets bad enough and the horse has to be euthanized.

Now what is the cause of death - the broken bone that was repaired or the laminitis that developed in treating the broken bone? I would say it was the broken bone, not the laminitis at the end of the process that was caused by the recovery process from the broken bone. If the bone doesn’t break, the horse wouldn’t get the laminitis.

So if a person has a severe underlying condition which causes a susceptibility to catching COVID-19 and dying, I would say it is the underlying condition, without which they may not get the virus or may recover if they did, that is the cause of death.

I don't have my head in the sand, but I'm not a doomsday extreme alarmist either.
