Check this out!!! In other countries they wont even take the US dollar as payment. In the news in this country we are only feed the news that is convenient for them to tell us. However look and read this article and check out the picture. Investors are even looking at Peru and south american countries to invest rather then the US because everyone knows that the Dollar will crash.

People still doubt God's word.. but God's word is always 100%% on point. One step closer to a one world government.

Here is a link to the WORLD economy ranking by GDP -

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal)

The U.S is NUMERO UNO - in terms of SINGLE NATION with the HIGHEST GDP.

Peru is number 54 or 55 depending on the ranking list you use.

The only thing that beats the SINGLE NATION GDP of the U.S is a GROUP OF NATIONS i.e. "ALL OF EUROPE COMBINED".

MSNBC may want to "mix in some facts" now and then with the propaganda. If they don't -- someday they will end up in the CNN ditch.

    in Christ,

    Bob

As stated - I agree that the only thing in the entire world today that beats the US GDP is that of the EU - so we should expect EU currency to be stronger than the USD given that GDP comparison.

But the EU is a GROUP of Nations --

It would be like comparing the U.S, Canada and Mexico to the EU should we ever agree to a single currency.

Right now WITHOUT doing that -- the U.S ALONE is still #2 ONLY to the GROUP of NATIONs -- the EU.

    in Christ,

    Bob

Question: What if you live in Europe and your currency is rising. Does that mean that Christ's return is not imminent???

    Tali,

Church history is replete with those who have failed miserably at making predictions based on the Word of God.

It looks like you're on your way to making that long list of failed attempts.

    1 + 1$ < 666 -- Church Age

    1 + 1$ = 666 -- Rapture

    1 + 1$ > 666 -- Tribulation

I understand but I am not making an attempt or saying that I am nostradamus. I am just comparing bible prophecy to what is happening around us today. In revelation it talks about a new world order and a global currency where you will not be able to buy, sell or work unless you have the mark of the best.

Well, if we look around us... the EURO is now united and more powerful than ever. Now because of the weak dollar the US is considering joining Canada and Mexico forming the North American Union. Now and days if you go to the store and pay with a $100.00 bill they look at you like you are crazy.. All of the commercials on TV, like the Visa commercial make you look stupid if you pay with cash. Little by littel this is becoming a cash less society and many dont even notice. I work for the Power Company and soon in a few months the US will pass a law that you will not be able to get any service at all unless you provide your Social Security Number. It wont be optional, if you dont want to give it, its simple you wont get service and its legal. They are doing this because of security reasons and to so call, protect us from Terror. The Government wants to know where, who, how, and when you do anything. I mean now more then ever the signs are evident. There is no worse blind person that he who doesnt want to see... We turn on the TBN and we see false prophets such as Jesus warned us. We live in a nation that is so Godless, but yes praise the lord.. we are blessed.. what a lie... we live in a nation that kills over 4 million babies in abortions each year. We live in a nation that is full of homosexuality and Christians are so comfortable with that.

We need to wake up people, there are signs all around us of Jesus return. He is coming soon!!!

When John wrote the Apocalypse, he used "soon" a few times and it has been two thousand years.

How soon is soon, my brother?

    http://www.sweetslyrics.com/479998.ANDRAE CROUCH - Soon And Very Soon.html

    Soon and very soon
We are going to see the King

    Soon and very soon
We are going to see the King

    Soon and very soon
We are going to see the King
    Hallelujah, hallelujah,
We're going to see the king

Is Andrae Crouch cool or what?
    Is Jesus amazing or what?

Ed, I love that song. It's a sweet song.

As a student of prophecy, I know that you know that "soon" in apocalyptic literature is not soon according to our reckoning.

Please could you explain (from the Scriptures) why the currency of a 21st century nation being in bad shape is a sign of Christ's return?

I fear Bro David that this is a result of americocentric dispensational eschatology. I don't know if that is a term yet, but I think we can figure out what it means :) .

I believe you are right. Many fundamentalists and dispensationalists in America have totally confused American culture with Christianity and cannot see that they are not the same thing at all. :BangHead:

Thanks, Roger! I like your neologism "americocentric".
