    To be truthful, Tom, I don't think I can be 100% dogmatic on the identity of either one of the two witnesses of Rev.11; just as I can't be dogmatic on that John was indeed Elijah. There are too many discrepancies on both sides. The testimony of John and Zechariah vs. the testimony of Jesus. Both are inspired.

    The assumption of some on the two witnesses that they are Elijah and Moses is due to the Mount of Transfiguration and Jesus talking with them. That doesn't mean that they are but some say that.
