To those in need??? Now that is a loaded question. Many organizations that are considered deductible under the charitable clause have nothing to do with taking care of the needy. Examples are Medical Research and Church's for the most part. There are also a lot of "foundations" set up just to shelter these "gifts". So to imply that all the money the conservatives have in the charitable giving column went to the needed is something we both know isn't true.

As a preacher, my guilt or innocence has nothing to do with the message. The truth is still the truth regardless if I am guilty or not.

Preachers like any Christian are being perfected. I have never pretended to be perfect and I am sure not the only self-righteous person on the board. However, it doesn't change the message because he isn't perfect. The Word of God is still the Word of God and must be presented even if it convicts myself.

 

Thought you might want to know, the bondholders you speak of is unsecured debt and not secured. Perhaps you should apologize to the president for saying he didn't know how bankruptcy works???
