Currently Space X is planning on launching its Super Heavy from Spaceport in the south of Texas at 9:28 EST.

When this launch occurs, and if it flies "hot, straight and normal" as rocketeers like to say, we will have taken one small step toward interplanetary travel, such as Mars.

This will be the attempted launch of the most powerful rocket ever launched if successful.

Today, Mr. Musk's Space X launched the Super heavy but after a few minutes while trying to achieve second stage separation, a malfunction resulted in a "RUD" (Rapid Unplanned Disassembly) as it blew up on camera.

Hopefully the data acquired will allow Space X to determine what went wrong and how to correct the issue.
