A staff member at New York’s Redeemer Presbyterian Church, led by popular megachurch pastor and author Tim Keller, and who handles sermon orders for Keller, identifies as a progressive who doesn’t believe homosexuality is sinful and is part of a so-called church plant whose leader recently made recommendations to do away with male/female-separated restrooms nationwide.

I agree with him. There is nowhere in God's word that He says simply identifying as heterosexual or homosexual is a sin. God's word points out specific heterosexual and homosexual ACTS as sinful.

I will also add that my reasons for saying homosexuality isn't a sin probably does not align with why Keller doesn't think it's a sin.

I have not seen where Keller has changed his position. He has stated that such acts are, in fact, a sin. He did say that people don't go to Hell for being gay, and they dont go to Heaven for being hetrosexual. But has Keller stated it was not a sin?
