To paraphrase the old saw, "Great Pretender fiddles while D.C. squirms"

One would think that if the budget crisis is going to be resolved, it's going to happen somewhere in the one-mile stretch between the White House and Capitol Hill.

But while Congress convened once again Thursday to weigh a set of mini-spending bills, President Obama hit the stump 20 miles away -- taking his bid to pressure Republicans, once again, on the road.

And to paraphrase Willie Nelson ...

"On the road again -
Just can't wait to get on the road again.
The life I love is making politics at my friends

And I can't wait to get on the road again.
On the road again"

Why? Simple: He thinks leadership is dictatorship, spin is truth, lies are legitimate political tools. Rather than stay at the WH, invite Boehner, McConnell, Cruz, and Ryan over and hammer out a solution to the stalemate, he goes "on the road again" to lead by caveat, spin like a top, lie like a rug.

Totally useless.
