I do this also. It doesn't tear right the other way.

    Right on.

I grew up in a small farm house with five rooms and a path.

    Corncobs and Sears Catalogs.

Sears catalogs were free and corncobs meant you sure didn't need PREPARATION H®!

When building our home I had someone talk me into a "bidet" instead of a third sink in the toilet room of the master bath. But after buying the bowl and being over budget already I didn't want to fork out $500.00 for the faucet and hardware to go with...so now it has turned into a plant holder. I might have to finish it now though; I hear it is the was to go.

Maybe you and SBC should give TP lessons to the janitors of public restrooms, especially the ones in fast food restaurants. Wait a minute. . .never mind. I'm just happy to actually FIND TP in a public bathroom nowadays!

I suspected that many here are unaware, as I was not so long ago, of the sophistications of luxurious modern day toiletry equipment available. These consist of greatly enhanced hygienic practices along with the comfort of a gentle shower while eliminating the barbaric use of toilet paper.
