It must have smelled badly by then. A young lady from Eastern Europe once gave us an egg she had decorated as is the custom in her country. after a couple of months or so, the odour was vile.

Seems odd to me and implausible for an egg to survive 72 years. I wonder if she froze it? Where did she store it?

A strange story, imo.
