It is a sad thing ,wherever it happens, when men are trapped underground, just doing their jobs.

How horrible. I didn't realize there were coal mines in China.

I've been inside an exhibition coal mine and it was a very scary feeling knowing I was surrounded by earth. Our tour guide turned off all the lights at one point, and the darkness reminded me of what hell might be like. Not an experience I'd care to repeat.
