The Tribune Company, the newspaper chain that owns The Chicago Tribune and The Los Angeles Times, is trying to negotiate new terms with its creditors and has hired advisers for a possible bankruptcy filing, according to people briefed on the matter.

Good riddance. There's no sympathy here for newspapers who sold their souls to the libeal agenda along time ago. On the other hand I've have no sympathy if they were staunchly conservative. Are newspapers not to be objective? Are they not supposed to present both sides of the issue allowing the reader to come to his or her own conclusion?
