I would say that googling "keys to the Church of the Nativity" would be more apt for a Russo-Turk conflict, but I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to history.

People should be "googling" Francis Ricciardone.

Turkey’s war against Kurdish civilians and its brutal ethnic cleansing will also not be on the agenda. Turkey stands accused of displacing over 4 million Kurds and engaging in severe human rights violations, including rape, property destruction, beatings and extrajudicial executions. NATO is not concerned its valued member is a terror state. The media in the United States rarely discusses Turkey’s ongoing violations of human rights.

The establishment media and its stenographers will exonerate Turkey and blame Russia for the shoot down of a jet along the border. It will be interesting to see how France reacts now that it has joined Russia in its effort to eradicate IS jihadists in the wake of the attacks in Paris.

Hillary Clinton and her Republican rivals have called for a no-fly zone in Syria. Ben Carson and Chris Christie have called for shooting down Russian aircraft if it intrudes on a no-fly zone.

It remains to be seen how Russia will respond to the shoot down of the jet. It is unlikely it will target Turkish anti-aircraft batteries. Not doing so, however, will allow Turkey a free pass and Islamists will continue to move into the country.
