Here we have the effort to sell a pig in a poke. When a teacher claims we cannot understand God's word, because his interpretation creates a paradox, you need to find a new teacher!

The answer to the question, how can we be held responsible for believing when we are incapable of believing, is... drum roll please... we are capable of believing!!!

Yet another personal attack, totally off topic. Only those in denial of truth, obfuscate it with personal attacks.

The video is an effort to sell a pig in a poke. When a teacher claims we cannot understand God's word, because his interpretation creates a paradox, you need to find a new teacher!

Which indicates a rather profound misconception of scripture IMHO.

Yet another off topic personal attack. Pay no attention to those who claim making nonsense of scripture is appropriate.

To Van's credit, a few years ago I put out a challenge to all who did not believe in using Catechisms and Confessions of faith.
    33 topics were listed.
Van was the only one that made the attempt.
A person can only offer what they believe.
He did step up and offer his version so I have to credit his attempt as righteous.
Not so much the content, but he did do it.

    A Calvinist is consistent 24/7.
Your reaction indicates you are looking to do battle with the caricature of the teaching, rather than the truth.
Recently a thread asked is Paul Washer a Calvinist.
Every Calvinist knows the answer by listening, but non cals do not believe Calvinists urge people to obey the gospel command to repent and believe
