Omaha, Nebraska - Two small dogs that police said fed on the body of their owner after he killed himself are headed to Indiana. The Nebraska Humane Society said the two pugs, Harry and Sally, will meet their new owners Tuesday and make the adoption official.

The owner's name wasn't Marie Provost, by any chance, was it?

I feel sorry for the two dogs. They were hungry and did what they had to do. I'm glad they have found a new home and I hope they are happy there. As for the poor man, what a shame that he would die and his body would lay in a house for two weeks without anyone noticing he was missing. We live in such a cold society. I don't know where that man is now, but I do know that no human being should have to suffer such an ignominious end to their life on earth. Sadly, people do every day.

Once dogs have tasted human flesh and blood, there's no trusting them after that. What if they decided to eat someone's baby that was asleep?
