Sam Storms just put out his Amil book The Kingdom Come. I've only read the first chapter. But it might be what the doctor ordered. He also did a good blog post at TGC that might be interesting for some folk since he studied at Dallas w/ the big names like Walvoord, Ryrie, and Pentecost.

The Bible and the Future by Anthony A. Hoekema is a very good book in my opinion. Of course I did not need convincing!

I keep looking at that but it's too expensive. I can't justify spending more then $10 for a kindle book.

I think we are all just waiting for Evan to come back and defend his position. Until then the love feast can continue

The Apostle John told us about 2000 years ago:

1 John 2:18. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

I have no doubt he was correct!

The Bible and the Future by Hoekema is available in paperback for $19 on ChristianBook.com. You can get used hardback cheaper on amazon but I have never bought a used book through them.

The kindle edition is $13 but I would not recommend buying any book for serious reading on kindle. I need to go back and read a lot in serious books and kindle is too much trouble for me. It is great for light reading.

Frankly I would recommend The Bible and the Future by Hoekema if you are interested in expanding your view of the millennium.. There may be some newer books that are better; I don't know.

Thanks for the recommendation. I hear you on the Kindle not being the best medium for heavy reading but I just don't have room for more books. I had to pare down my huge library when I moved to AZ. Maybe when I have a little extra money I might spurge on it. For now I'll just have to see what I can find online to expand my horizons

I've seen Kingdom Come online and in stores. I'm not sure if I want to tackle that large of a book devoted to eschatology. It is however on my Amazon wishlist, so I'll get around to it one of these days. I think I've read that article before. He does raise some good points.

Added to the wishlist. Thanks!

So while we are waiting for Evan to get back to us, how is it going?

Going well. It would be better without the couple inches of fluffy white stuff coming down outside. But I can't complain, I don't have to be out in it for another 12 hours.

Now that I think about it, I think snow might be evidence that we are already in the tribulation... therefore pre-trib is impossible. I rest my case. :tongue3:

No. I am staying out of this shark tank. You are many; I am one.
Any objective moderator (other than myself), would have moved this down into the fellowship forum. There is no debate here. Why is it in the debate forum?
If I present my views then there will be debate. But I am staying out of it for now, and just allowing you "to fellowship" together.
    There is no debate.

The whole thread began as a debate. Remember the OP? There is no debate now because we are waiting on Evan to show up again.

Aw snow. I now live in AZ so I never see any snow. Although my poor husband got the full taste of winter when we were in CO with my family for Christmas
