    I can't say that Pelosi going to Syria (with Republicans and Democrats in her party) is cozying up to the Syrians. I also am not willing to assume she is not grandstanding, which is something she likes to do (Heck, she's a politician).

    I do see a difference between Reagan vs. USSR in that Reagan used diplomacy from strength. I don't know if we are at the same level of strength now as we were during Reagan. Anyone really want to equate Bush 43 with Reagan?

    It will be interesting to see what is said during the talks. Of course, we probably won't know, save for the sanitized media version.
