U.N. Panel's Glacier-Disaster Claims Melting Away

Today, the IPCC issued a statement offering regret for the poorly vetted statements. "The Chair, Vice-Chairs, and Co-chairs of the IPCC regret the poor application of well-established IPCC procedures," the statement says, though it goes short of issuing a full retraction or reprinting the report.

Pachauri told Reuters on Monday that the group was looking into the issue, and planned to "take a position on it in the next two or three days."

The IPCC's 2007 report, simply titled AR4, claimed that "glaciers in the Himalayas are receding faster than in any other part of the world, and if the present rate continues, the likelihood of them disappearing by the year 2035 and perhaps sooner is very high if the Earth keeps warming at the current rate."..........

..........One of the key elements in the growing scandal is the revelation that IPCC based some of its public proclamations on non-peer reviewed reports.

"The data, all the data, needs to come to light," says Dr. Jane M. Orient, president of Doctors for Disaster Preparedness and an outspoken skeptic on climate change.

"Thousands of scientists are capable of assessing it. The only reason to keep it hidden, locked in the clutches of the elite few, is that it decisively disproves their computer models and shows that their draconian emission controls are based on nothing except a lust for power, control and profit."

The IPCC "made a clear and obvious error when it stated that Himalayan glaciers would be gone by 2035," added Patrick J. Michaels, a senior fellow in environmental policy at the libertarian Cato Institute, in an interview.

"The absurdity was obvious to anyone who had studied the scientific literature. This was not an honest mistake. IPCC had been warned about it for a year by many scientists."

I would agree......
except
I believe they are keeping their agenda.

They have just run into some real walls/snares of their own creation. Their agenda remains the same.

The thing is, they thought there was not enough thinking or educated people to challenge their data. They also believed that by producing alibies, false hypothesis of imminent disasters on the horizen, utilizing crisis, or creating chaos.... they could peacably bring the people to desire and support their agenda and beat down those in the populace who would oppose. This way it creates divisions in the populace and within society, people are at enmity with each other while the government and its agencies and the ngo's--- which are highly influencial in policies...... become the 'good guys' which will save the world.

The people who want power and control are evil. They already have all the money they want. They are already interconnected through their secret and not so secret alliances. The devil is behind and within their schemes of power. Most of them are tied directly to the occult... and those that aren't, have indirect ties which influence them........... regardless of what they profess. They are liars and cheats and thieves and murderers who by desire and design, wish to reduce the population to levels which they can control and enslave. And they are determined to keep trying until they succeed.

Former characters like Hitler, Lenin and Stalin.... etc. were rehersals of their plan on a small stage of training to see how people react and to figure out what moves and controls us; what works and what doesn't.

The stage is becoming larger. Their attempts have intensified. They've become bolder, not fearing their own mistakes. They continue in the same venue. And at each point where we think we have defeated them..... they are learning how and why and by what means we've managed to uncover their fallacies. Eventually they will figure out ways to limit our sources and our resources and to take our temporal weapons of warfare away (not necessarily our firearms.... but the weapons of open communication, radio, free news, independant private schools and home schools, control of internet resources, discrediting and impoverishing gifted and scientifically aware people who stand against them, etc)...... and our last resort will be spiritual......because that is where the real battle has always been... Only its becoming more IMPORTANT that we recognize this and get properly armed and prepared..... knowledge of the Word and what God has to say concerning his faithfulness not only in the spiritual things but also in the ordering of his creation......saving faith........ and prayer ......... and dependency on the holy spirit to guide our judgement.

I do suspect that we will see our world being manipulated by policies designed to create chaos, and policies which will make disasters more intense than they might have been..... for the sake of whipping the unsuspecting and trusting into submission and greater control.


In the meantime....... we should never cease to be thankful to God for everything which IS GOOD, comes from Him.

If all we do is complain... then we ourselves help stir up the discontent which demands of the powers that be to create their own solutions which become our problems. The murmerings in the desert of the Israelities.... should be a lesson relevant for us to take heed of today. Complaining vs pointing out error should not be confused. We have the authority to point out error. But complaining changes nothing... but its fruit is more grief.

Not to be contrary but I believe their agenda is gone as it once stood. They may have to back up and repackage it, but it cannot continue as they were.
