    Could be, I just like hearing that sound it's like an iron trap slamming shut. Takes me back to my old trap line days. :)

    Lol, that's strange, my little brother targeted foxes. The hard winter of 76-77 he caught five reds from one cow carcass. Beaver's in the big water here, never got into trying trap them, don't know anyone who has either.

    Lot's of beaver where I grew up in western Ny. Lot's of water there and it gets really hard in the winter. Hard enough to walk on even with a pack full of big ole heavy beaver traps.
