UK welcomes USA

In what seems to be a new era of good feeling between the UK and the USA, the UK warmly welcomed the USA for a state visit. The occasion, as you know, is the 75th anniversary of D-Day.

They should always welcome us warmly - we turned the tide in two world wars and saved countless British lives in the process.
