Ukraine now calling up convicts and women to combat

This article shows pretty conclusively that Ukraine is certainly losing in this war with Russia. Not only is there a great change on who is called up but there is also a change on where they do their gunpoint recruiting - anywhere.

Caveat lector: This is from Russia Today. If this offends patriotic sensibilities then go instead to NY Times or BBC News - where you probably will not find stories quite like this.

Ukraine replenishes combat losses with convicts and women

"Earlier this month, Zelensky’s top aide Mikhail Podolyak revealed that the Ukrainian military was losing up to 100 to 200 troops daily in the battle for the Donbass. Defense Minister Alexey Reznikov refused to give an exact number of Kiev troops killed in the fighting, but said he hoped the figure was below 100,000."

So Russia is “more in the right” even though they clearly violated their agreement to respect Ukrainian borders by invading and are slaughtering innocents.

In your opinion, Ukraine is “thuggish” and the US is “utterly degenerate and corrupt”, but good ole Putin is “more in the right”…..

But you aren’t really taking sides, are you?

Those quotes of mine were extracted from two different contexts. But you were just looking for ammunition, not understanding.

And you overlooked my qualifying phrase.

By taking their side concerning Russia. They want war with Russia and are getting it. Not their moneys worth (it's our money) but they are bleeding Russia, and destroying Ukraine in the process. That is my opinion. I do not mean to be offensive to you at all. I didn't mean to speak for someone else, but that's my best guess. Only my opinion. Sorry.

I did not take their side nor do I but even so you do not get to impose something on my I have not actually said. If you believe I implied something its best to ask for clarification so you don't get it wrong rather than assert something and be wrong like this.

Idk what to do with this. I have previously posted in another thread that i dont trust either side and i have no idea where the truth lies.

Further, pelosi and company are not America and its not just them who support Ukraine. So im not sure how you reached your conclusion about my position.

You are claiming to be unbiased on Ukraine in the one post. Your other posts, which I quoted, reveal your bias in favor of Russia and against Ukraine.

I’m not looking for ammunition. I’m looking for consistency. I have far more respect for Konstantin. He is not attempting to have it both ways. He is pro Russia and unapologetic. You are just as pro Russia as he, but attempting some sort of pseudo intellectual nuance of objectivity which obviously doesn’t really exist.

Convicts, it depends on what they were convicted of. I've heard of teenagers being to either see the recruiter or spend time in jail. As for women, going back to the Great Patriot War, females served in the front lines especially as snipers.

He knows that the news media lies. A person has to shift through the propaganda to find maybe a tiny bit of truth. You are mad because he is unbiased but seeks truth wherever he can get it?
