Why according to the story they entered Mexico legally and are not entering the US illegally. I have a friend at one of the Russian-speaking EC-B churches in Sacramento. He and a team are going down there this weekend to help out.

Why according to the story they entered Mexico legally and are not entering the US illegally. I have a friend at one of the Russian-speaking EC-B churches in Sacramento. He and a team are going down there this weekend to help out.

I didn’t realize they came in legally. I thought they had paid the cartels to smuggle them in. I thought they were claiming asylum? Of course, that would be legitimate.

My bad. Just thought it strange they came through Mexico instead of New York.

I think it's a matter of airfare costs and seat availability.
