Any U.S. Senator can issue a "hold" on a nominee, which prevents the various committees responsible for vetting them for the full Senate from holding hearings to "advise and consent" to the nomination, or reject it.WASHINGTON – South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham reiterated his pledge to block all of Obama’s nominees for executive branch positions until Congress is allowed to hear testimony from those on the ground during the Benghazi terrorist attacks in 2012.
“I shouldn’t have to do this – to make these threats,” he said on “Fox News Sunday.”
Graham says there are still too many unanswered questions about the Sept. 11 attack in Libya that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.
So what do you think? Will holding up the Great Pretender's nominees make Benghazi battle participants magically show up for Senate hearings? Or is this just one more futile attempt to hold the criminal in the White House accountable?
