At what point did higher education become so stressful that colleges and universities saw fit to soothe students’ end-of-semester distress with – and I still can’t believe I’m saying this – a puppy party?

To be fair, this phenomenon is not limited to the University of Maine at Farmington. At prestigious (and anxiety-ridden) Yale University, students can actually check out dogs from both the medical and law libraries

Puppies to help Cedarville students de-stress for finals week

"CEDARVILLE, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - It's finals week and students at Cedarville University will get a chance to de-stress with help from puppies. The non-profit in Xenia, 4 Paw for Ability, trains service dogs to help veterans and kids with special needs. The puppies will be brought to the student center at Cedarville on December 13"

Farmington gets plenty of them, both at the university and from the clouds (about 90"/year.) I'm not always a big fan of Mr. Nemitz, but he hit the X-ring with this one.
