Update on Lauren

    Well, she's been home since Tuesday and she continues to do better and better. She's eating almost anything she wants but just much smaller portions. She's decided she doesn't need the Reglan, the antinausea medication so she stopped taking it. She continues on the Nexium however. But she is strong enough to have gone to a deaf event at church yesterday, church this morning and now college group tonight!!

    We see the surgeon on Tuesday and she'll get her innoculations that she needs because of the lack of a spleen and then I'll make sure she has clearance to drive and also get a note for school saying that she can be re-enrolled so that she can register for classes next semester again. :)

    It was such a long, hard ordeal but God was with us every step of the way. We saw His hand in this and Lauren is proof that prayer - and the anointing of the sick - still works!
