At any given time there are "plans" to attack just about any country on the planet.

It's called being prepared.

In this case however it is just more Obama posturing for political points.

The guy thinks that he is living in some sort of video game instead of the real world.

I tend to agree that this nothing but words in an election year for a political posturing. I believe that this report is nothing but an election year political move to make it look like he is going to protect Israel by standing up to Iran with the hopes of getting the votes of conservative Independents.

It should also be noted that the Pentagon makes the contingency plans - not the President.

Obama's job is to take the credit when something goes right - and point the finger when something goes wrong.
